Treatment and Recovery

During your consultation, Dr. Kato will evaluate your body-shape goals and determine which areas are best suited for BodyTite. On the day of treatment, you’ll be comfortably numbed, and a tiny cannula will be inserted under the skin. This device emits gentle radio-frequency energy to liquefy fat cells and tighten the surrounding tissue. The liquefied fat is then removed, and the RF heating triggers collagen remodeling and skin contraction. The full session typically lasts 1–3 hours, depending on the number and size of the areas treated.

After your treatment, some swelling, bruising, or mild discomfort is normal — easily managed with pain medication and a few days’ rest. We recommend wearing a compression garment to support the healing process and maximize contouring. Most patients resume light activity in a few days; avoid heavy exercise for a few weeks.
