Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Maya Kato established Aesthetic Art with a vision to help patients achieve rejuvenation with surgical and non-surgical methods. Dr. Kato is a highly-trained specialist; she graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA and received her medical degree from UCSF. She is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and has performed thousands of procedures with a focus on the head and face.

Dr. Kato has published numerous articles and book chapters and continues to be active in research and teaching. She has been involved in resident education at UCSF, UC Davis, Kaiser, and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Riverside.

In addition to an illustrious career and her extensive experience, Dr. Maya Kato is known for performing injectables and other nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedures with artistry and skill. Dr Maya Kato is fabulous and feel so blessed that I found her. I just recently moved to the desert and was looking for someone I trusted that was knowledgeable with filler under the eyes. Being Italian I am prone to dark under eye circles and hollows. I met with Dr Kato and she was very patient and explained the procedure. I decided to go for it and couldn’t be happier.
